Jodie Butler, PMHNP is an ANCC Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Born and raised in Gainesville FL, she came to Oregon over 22 years ago. She began her nursing career in 2007. Over the course of the last 16 years she has served communities in both urban and rural Oregon as well as South Sudan. Her work as an Emergency Room Nurse, Flight Nurse and Nurse Director for Doctors Without Borders revealed a large gap in psychiatric providers for both children and adults. This inspired her to do more for my community leading her to complete her degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She now enjoys serving the Columbia Gorge and surrounding areas at her office in Hood River.

Jodie believes that the foundation of successful mental health treatment is developing a trusting and respectful relationship with each patient. She firmly believes that each person has a unique life experience and deserves treatment based on that experience.
